Coaching is an interactive experience where we discuss your challenges, establish your goals, and work together to take you from where you are now to where you want to be.
100%! What happens in our sessions stays in our sessions, just like seeing a therapist.
The time that your coaching process will take depends on the complexity of your goals and your commitment and openness to your process. Some clients see results from just a few sessions, while others decide to continue working with me for longer.
Consultations and sessions take place via Zoom. I have a flexible schedule including daytime, evening and weekend availability.
One of the most common misconceptions about coaching is that it is therapy in disguise – or worse yet – therapy from an unlicensed practitioner. In reality, coaching is truly its own unique service designed to help ambitious achievers meet the outcomes that will bring them success and fulfillment in any and all areas of life.
In coaching, a client works with a coach who is not a healthcare professional to clarify goals and identify obstacles and blocks in order to create action plans to achieve desired results. The main way that a coach vs. therapist works is that the coach takes the client’s current starting point as an acceptable neutral ground and is more action-based from that point onward. A coach enables the person receiving treatment to take control of their life and take action to steer it toward their goals.
